Old Colorado City is a distinguished National Historic District located just west of downtown Colorado Springs. It is one of the oldest areas of Colorado Springs dating back to the Gold Rush days of 1859 when minors would gather at saloons and collect supplies. While Old Colorado City is brimming with historic charm, you will also find a modern mix of art studios, eclectic shopping, and wonderful local dining. 

The homes in the area are represent a mix of the old and the new with everything from old Victorian homes, cottages, modern remodels, and new builds. Students residing in this area attend school in Colorado Springs School District 11. 

Territory Days every Memorial Day Weekend

Old Colorado City host many community events throughout the year including the Art Walk, Territory Days, Harvest Festival, Christmas Stroll, and Santa's Cabin.
